The first stage of the Canmore Restoration Project is aimed at making Canmore “wind and watertight”. This part of the project involves replacing a number of windows, repairing almost all of the guttering, and repairing (with steel braces) a number of cracks that have developed in the building. The project is being managed by Hardies (Property and Construction Consultants) and is being undertak...en by G. M. Joinery (Anstruther). This first stage will cost £91,000. As at March 2025 we have managed to raise nearly £8,000 and (between them) two anonymous donors have pledged to double whatever we raise up to £30,000.
